Please note that the menu below changes with the seasons. The Lodge uses our own fresh range eggs and where possible we use local ingredients of the highest standard, including produce from the lodge grounds. In house dining is available year round. Bookings are essential.

Dinner   Entree, Main, and Desserts are available (dinner orders taken the night before)
Lunch   Changes daily NZ $20 or shared platters for two NZ $25pp
Breakfast   Continental or hot cooked breakfast Included in the daily room tariff
High Tea

  $45 pp served with a choice of Tea or Coffee and a glass of bubbles (minimum 4 guests) Only available to guests of the lodge

Breakfast at the lodge is a relaxing affair. We start you off with freshly brewed coffee or tea, a choice of fresh juices, delicious seasonal fruits, yoghurt, and a guest favourite, homemade Muesli. Our hot croissants or muffins and toast are served with yummy, local honey, and jams. We also offer a full cooked breakfast (Sample menu below) if you prefer.

Omelettes An omelette served with Smoke salmon, cream cheese and capers Or Bacon, cheese tomatoes and fresh herbs Or Plain omelette     

Scrambled eggs on toast Lightly scrambled free range eggs served on toast

The Lodge Launcher Fried or poached eggs, sitting on parmesan cheese toast, and served with tomato, mushrooms, bacon, or sausages

Poached Eggs Poached Eggs served on toast or with hollandaise sauce

Eggs Benedict Poached free range eggs served on a potato cake or toast with a choice of smoked salmon, or bacon with hollandaise sauce

Sweet French Toast With caramelized apples severed with Maple syrupy and a fruit compote

Vegetarian Breakfast Spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and a free range poach egg, served on a potato cake or ciabatta bread

Salmon Served with garlic hoisin glaze served on a potato cake and seasonal salad

Fish & Chips Pan fried or battered served with tartar sauce

Crispy Lemon, Rosemary Chicken served with salad or seasonal vegetables

Chicken or Smoked Salmon salad

Prawn Served with spaghetti and a creamy chilli coriander sauce

Medallions of Venison With blueberries in an orange Sauce

Lamb Shanks  Served with mash potatoes lashings of gravy and seasonal vegetables

Lamb Steak Served on a kumera potato cake with either fresh vegetables or salad  

True Kiwi Icon the Roast of the Day Lamb or Pork Cooked on a Rotisserie and served with all the trimmings (minimum of three guests)

True Kiwi BBQ Enjoy a authentic BBQ served with all the trimmings (minimum of four guests)

We have a selection of beer, wine, and no-alcoholic beverages that are reasonably priced which are available to purchase during your stay with us.
